Alex W in goal! we got hammered but what a great night. I remember it being the first football ground i went to that sold chips, not of us could believe it never been done before!!!
 
Done Stockport and Rotherham(that went off!) both in div 2

Worst was sitting in the kop aged 16 when Weah scored for us! We equalised at the kop through a Horlock pen I got a little excited and cheered then was chased out by about 25 scoucers lol
 
Oldham last game of the season around 1990, Beat them 6-2 (White hat-trick) and the Latics fans in the Main stand started throwing cushions at the player as they walked off.

In the Barca end, there was a bloke who sold you beer at your seat, Schalke, ended up in the home end to get a glugwein at HT.

I recall ending up in the away end of the Kippax once, by mistakenly walking through that shed type thing serving both sets of fans.

Surprised no-one's mentioned Southampton, last game at Maine Road.

I was in the Cheadle End that night and got smacked after celebrating Pollocks Goal. Think that was the game Mickey Francis was celebrated on the pitch with some other lads and the stewards didn't know what to do as Mickey was there boss.

Been many home ends.

Leicester at Filbert Street - Wanchope scored if I remember rightly. I jumped up but was at the top of there stand behind the goal. Very lucky i didn't get seen by fans below. They knew a few city were in there end and were after trouble.

Sheff United - Probably the worst I have been. We got spotted early doors but never knew until queuing up for a beer and getting scrutinised. The lad I was with had a broad Oldham accent and got away with putting a yorkshire accent on and I tried saying I was from Glossop thinking they were would believe I could be a Blades from being nearly half way across the pennines. Very lucky that day we never scored.

Wigan Springfield Park - Twice in our promotion season

Bristol Rovers - 2-2 Total inbreds them. Smaller clubs are the worst. Ended up in Cheltenham after the game.2 coaches pulled up and it kicked off when we arrived, thinking it was a another set of fans. Turned out to be Failsworth branch.

Chesterfield away that was fun ..
Stood up with a couple of blues I'd just meet and my mates were in the away end .
Anyway 5 mins into the game the lads next to me decided it would be good to sing along with the city fans which of course lead to 2 mins of madness which felt like 10 hours .
In the end we ended up on the side of the pitch and the stewards let us in the away end
As a 19 year old lad that was a crazy day .
Any other blues recall it ?
 
Anybody remeber the FA Cup (think it was) game against Stoke we had to play at Owed Trafford years ago. I stood in the Stretford end and this City fan had climbed onto the roof and fell through from a height of a bout 50 feet......that must have hurt, think we won 3-2 after being 2-0 down>>>>??!!

probably more but it was a long time ago - standing - bit hairy a few times but nothing serious
