There’s the Springfest on in Munich this month! Exactly like Octoberfest but less touristy.

A mate from Munich said, "Just don’t go to Hofbrau Haus - it’s the worst beer in Munich and only tourists go there. You won’t find any local who eats or drinks there." Asked where to go. He said just go:

Augustiner Klosterwirt in the city centre,under the big ladies church. Within one minute you have Augustiner am Dom and Andechser am Dom .Pedestrianised area. Marienplatz u Bahn is right nearby.
Not going, though wish I was. One of my favourite beer gardens in Munich with great beer.

It's the usual German Fayre , they seem to serve plenty of it .You can see the menu on their website. Klosterwirt is my favourite place, being going there ten years..
