I've been a City fan for over 40 years and I've yet to see these "plastic fans" in the title of your video. So that's as far as I got before turning it off.

Just realised the OP was being ironic. I'm drunk, forgive me.
Time you knocked the gargle on the head fella (it's a young man's game)!

The video is basically showing what great support we've always had,not that we're full of plastics.

Yup, I belatedly realised that.
Stony, you've just confirmed what all true City fans know and other teams hate, we have genuine fans, always have had, always will have!

In our "darkest days" of 1996-2000 I have looked @ our average attendances in the second/third divisions & compared the crowds of the" CHEEKY TWATS " who have the audacity to say where we're you when we were shit!!!

YEAR. DIVISION. AVERAGE CROWD. CURRENT PREMIER ATTENDANCE AVE
2000. 2. 32,088
1999. 3. 28,261.

There you go pal, nice little watch that.
Makes me a bit sad to watch that video and think of all the mates and family members I've had drop away from our support, most for being priced out (some who've passed away) and to see all the tourists and hakf'n'half scarfers we have at games now.

We used to have the best supoort in the country in those years, bar none!

Indeed!

Fair play to Southampton who averaged around 21500 fans in the third tier over the two years they were there, and to Norwich who averaged nearly 24700 in the year they were in that division.

Remember that many of those City crowds were capacity as well. They had to build extra capacity AFTER we got relegated.

Can't believe the state of that pitch at Blackburn. Remember being in the middle of it somewhere, but I doubt there was that many on the pitch at the Etihad when we beat QPR!

Where was I?

When that big screen counter went down from 44 to zero after Aguerrrrooo I could remember being at almost every home league match between 1966 and 2012.

That's where I was.
