we have a two bedroomed flat in Chester next to the racecourse, meant to be an investment.....

I have just turned 50, plan to work for another 5 years maybe unless something drastic happens to prevent it

I am leaning towards living in the apartment now..............

a short walk into the centre of Chester and I can think of worse places

Handy for the match too

sounds pretty good to me

shame about the scousers though ;-)

Yes I am lucky, been here nearly 20 years... Missing the games is a pain in the arse though.

I live in a small Village just outside Penzance called Tredavoe.
I'm in Troon near Camborne, 15 mins from north and south coast, wouldn't swap it for anything.

I grew up in Redruth
It was a nice town with loads of beaches a bus ride away
Very happy days

er indoors is a dipper, born and bred in Ellesmere Port, the accent isn't as grating as a proper scouser but she certainly has a twang

She keeps me sane :-)

NOT NORFOLK I am well and truly f*ckin sick of this inbred ridden tosshole of a county. Only people descended from Norfolk actually want to live in Norfolk.

I wish we could just move the house we're in to somewhere in the hills, within 30 miles of the Etihad, near a decent pub.
Did you move there or were you born there?
Always strikes me as a pretty decent place - been camping there a few times.
I am well & truly sick of Manchester. Corrupt council, traffic choas & building those fkin tram lines making life a misery. Thinking of moving to Syria - :)

We moved here by accident. Well, I say accident, but really it was a career move. Like Blue Underpants posted, Norwich is OK, but you only have to go about two miles out of the city and you're immediately about as welcome as shit on the carpet.

With my work, I've been practically all over these Isles over the last 25 years and I realistically could only reside where I do now, or, if I had the money, in central London, or Edinburgh. The rest of it is pretty shit.
