Where would you rank last night in terms of disappointments?

I detest the champions League. All that history clubs bollocks, especially the fucking scousers who were responsible for deaths and injuries and getting English clubs banned. Some fucking history eh? Also the shit, veering on corrupt, officiating. I hate everything about it so I won't support it. Sure I want us to win it, mainly to shut the arseholes who used it as a stick to beat us with, plus I know as a club we want it. So it didn't hurt as much as some results for me, it was more annoyance we blew a game we had won.

These are my thoughts exactly, the best thing about being in it at the later stages is depriving the history clubs.

A dipper fan at work said I’m taking it well, I said I want 4 shit 1 nil wins & I’ll be delighted & the boys can go on a well deserved holiday. It didn’t take long for him to admit he’d rather win the league.

I said you can say all you want about best in Europe or world champs but if we win the league your the second best team in the NW.

The ones that always come into my mind are that Owen goal for the rags in the millionth minute of injury time and the disallowed Sterling goal against spurs in the CL. If I’m honest I’d put this behind both of those.. That Owen goal happened as a lone city fan in a pub full of rags, i nearly got bottled. The Sterling goal I jumped around the room screaming for 2 minutes, nearly lost my voice being VAR chalked it off
Last night was worse for me than every relegation added together. The Raheem goal v Spurs and Llorente's handball runs it close. Last night made me feel ill - I still do - and I'm never ill. The thing about relegation is that you deserve it. You finish top you deserve to win it - no arguing.

Agree with that. This only runs 2nd to last years defeat to Chelsea. I'm mega gutted. We had the game won several times and let those wankers back in every fucking time.

The rags are laughing sad feckers wishing pep to be sacked they have even got a poll.anything that brightens up there sad existence up.They are realising they wont be winning honours anytime soon.Even if they have 1 haag 2 haag 10 haags!

I took my metal mental well-being day off at work as it seemed as good time as any day to take off lol and the kids school was closed for polling. Just back from taking them to see Lion King in the West End and it’s recharged me… let’s smash the barcodes on Sunday!

You're right - we've been subjected to dodgy decisions in the CL year after year, which is why I'm seriously considering binning the CL Cup Scheme next season. Nothing to do with last night's result, which was of City's own making, but that ref's display was yet another in a long line. There is definitely something going on IMHO.
And last night the fecking world saw them screw us over. Some sports journo has to do an undercover job, get a job at UEFA in the PR Comms dept, hidden mic. A Donal MacIntyre type job. Same in the Prem.

Anybody else weirdly feeling worse tonight than yesterday? I think yesterday I was sort of in shock, 24 hours later it’s hit me properly, gutted.
