In 2006 I worked at Silverstone for the weekend for the F1 GP which was the same weekend of the world cup starting, and then spent the rest of the summer between jobs. Basically I was on it for the whole summer and I remember very little of the world cup - or anything else - as I spent most of my time in the pub!
So this year I'm gonna watch it all at home in a civilised manner!

At home on the box i reckon. Used to like going watching it in town (Leeds, not Manchester) but it always used to kick off if we didn't win. Can't be arsed listening to idiotic fuckwits hurl out cliched comments at some of our players.

Good little bar it is, cheap beer(ie £9 for a four pint cocktail pitcher!!)
Its a bit small but should be a cracking atmosphere

im also going vegas but affraid mine is Las Vegas fly out wed woooooooop :)
