In which case, im sorry, but thats a pretty idiotic way to look at it... He's been around this board a hell of a lot longer than you or I so its not like he just logged on to WUM. And incase you weren't aware, this isn't Lord of the Flies, let the mods handle things... its not our place to hound out posters some may feel are being dishonest (rags excluded of course ;) )

And if all you saw was "banter" then you missed a hell of a lot.

What about an Ajay - 'News From the Dubai' blog through a link from one of the main top links on the front page with restricted posting from others? I know it won't stop the people who wish to insult the guy on the forums, but at least Ajay does not have to trawl through the mud and can choose not to read such posts.

BTW i'm all for sceptisicm, but personal attacks or lame, insulting posts are just out of order.

whats happened guys? has ajay said that it was a WUM? or were one or two idiots just abusive towards him?

Should we still believe what he posted? I for one believed him, he seemed very credible

I'm new on here, but I have already had my hand slapped by Ric. Sorted it out in the end. :-)

Anyway, I'm not going to get involved with what has happened today. It's been done to death.

What I would like to see is the thread reinstated and locked until AJAY has concrete information and he contact's Ric first and they both agree that that information should be posted and the thread reopened.

Once that information is posted it will stop the doubters. If the thread is never opened again, it will appease the doubters. Leaving it open just continues the madness that went on today. I for one can wait until Ajay has some concrete information or names to give us.

The post's been moved downstairs to Off Topic... due to the amount of abuse and off 'topicyness' that the thread had decended into.

Shame, hope it doesn't put people like yourself posting information in the future.

in simple terms. That when someone signs up and posts a rumor they get murdered with abuse, like for example. "Source or shut the fuck up" was one I read today.

Nobody was doing that to Ajay as far as i saw. Questioning him yes. Abusing him? I did not see it.

When you say a player has agreed terms, fee agreed and medical complete, surely you expect said person to name the player? When it doesnt materialize then of course it is only fair for them to be questioned? Surely?

I'm not taking anything our of context, the threads down in "Off Topic" if you want to go through it... ok just checked can't see it now. It was nothing like people questioning, as other have said it was (presumably) grown men getting kicks attempting to bully another grown man.

Added to which to they set up their own thread (Put his name in the title!) so they can post more abuse and insults, after which Ajay posts a very long statement on the same thread explaining himself and people's doubts. Just completely indefensible and not how you would want to be treated yourself.

I had some banter about knowing a superstar signing was on the way. Thats as far as I saw. Although I saw an argument breakout with that Theo character.
 
I think when ajays good and ready or if he feels he wishes to update then he will post, fortunately by removing the thread, the ability to both insult or pester for more info has been removed. This is only an opinion based on my interaction with Ajay and not any sort of message on his behalf, I just get the impression he has thicker skin than you might think ;o)

Maybe the mods should look into banning the bullies and the one's that were being slanderous. Absolute disgrace that it was allowed to get into the mess it did. I called for action a couple of times before it eventually happened but all that happened was that my posts became deleted.

Is that not sending out the wrong signal????????
 
From what I saw the thread just got boring.

I was following it up to around 5.30pm

The Ajay disbelievers were not insulting they were just taking the piss a little. Now I am an Ajay supporter BUT to a certain extent he and a poster called Theo invited the nonsense they got. This is because Ajay announced he knew something but then e-mailed only certain people (why he did that I don't know he should have just PM his mates and said nothing) then Theo got all excited with his status and said "I know who it is but I'm not telling you lot because you questioned him." This was inviting trouble and he got it. After that the thread got filled up with nonsense that was off topic.

If anything happened other than that after 5.30 I didn't see it.

The way I saw it Ajay played it wrong on this occasion. Sorry if the news doesn't go down well with everyone but nobody is immune from a mistake.

Now the thread has gone because people were getting precious with information and others responded with sillyness.

Shame.
