Where's Ajay's thread gone? & Congratulations! [Merged]

Read in earlier post that Cook has ordered lockdown on rumours, and that certainly seems to be the case as this forum has gone quiet. Why has MCFC this obsession with not communicating to the fans; whats wrong with us knowing planned changes to the ground, the training ground, team arrangements, training methods, buying the ground and surrounding area, redeveloping the shop, new transfer targets, straegy for making us biggest & best team in the world.

We all love the club and live/breathe the club, much longer than Cook or our beloved and much respected owner and board, who are not necessarily life long Manchester City fans.

Do we have fan representatives who communicate the fans perspective to our board?

Lets all, Owner, Board, Executives, Players, Supporters work together and communicate together to make this great club greater, the greatest in the world.

Stop the silence, now.

You really have no idea how buisiness works do you?

I do, but MCFC depends on the fans base thats the lifeblood, the revenue base.

Stop the silence, it hides the incompetence and stops it getting sorted properly. Savy Ducado (Alias 4 Mr. Cook).

Yes lets tell each club who we want to buy and how much we are maximum anount we are paid to pay is. Lets tell everybody how much each player earns. Lets tell everybody which player we want to sell and what the minimum amount we are prepared to accept is. C'mon City tell us we need to know because we want to gossip on an internet forum and you know important that is

You really need to get out more, City is a buisiness, by necessity the buisiness is done behind closed doors, you will find out in due course, I am as impatient as you are, but I am adult enough to realise that most times good things come to those who wait

Dont be a prat Chesterguy, no one asked for that kind of info to be published, just the basic direction and plans for club and team, no harm stating players we would be interested in or have made bids for, Happy Harry does it all the time, MH did it at press conference recently.

Dont make up a false scenario then shoot the person down, Communications is the lifeblood of good companies, not walls of silence and witchhunts to maintain that silence.

Quite right. The club cannot continue to let half truths slip out that then become inaccurate urban myths - as has been the case for years. If the owners want to buy the ground then great but the first we (the fans) should hear about it is when is a done deal. How would the negotiations go to buy the Ground if the owner had already promised us publicly he's going to buy it!

Silly post IMO - City are supposed to come out and reveal all their plans to us? Let us know what they plan to do with the future, potential transfer targets etc? What a load of rubbish. If City ever did that it would be a definite head in hands moment.

What we need is the fans to chill out, calm down and not expect us (and believe) to sign Villa, Kaka, Gerrard, Terry, Torres, Messi, Robben, Seedorf, Pele, Zico & Jimmy Grimble. The window has been open a week and because we havent signed all of the above, or at least some decent acquisitions, then we're all in uproar and Hughes has lost the dressing room, obviously Cook as suspended all transfers. Bollocks. You know nothing, I know nothing and Bob the Builder knows nothing.

Lets just wait and see what happens, we no control, no matter how much we speculate or shout phrases such as "stop the silence" is going to make anything happen any quicker. We're not special, no other club reveals all, and neither will we.

Ducado I need to get out, spot on, CTID. whats your location 'Have I killed this thread yet?'. Mr. businessman of the year ?I fear, oh sorry Mr. Chip on shoulder and Mr. Negativity. Open the curtains a little, let a little chink of light shine on your dark life.

No offence, my fellow Blue supporter, meant.

Stop the silence.

Harry Redknapp doesn't do it all the time, he's done it recently with the likes of Bellamy and Downing which got him really far in those negotiations. If I were West Ham or Boro now I would be mightly pissed off with him making the transfer public and wouldnt sell to them as matter of prinsciple.

All that is a bit
Cutesy_Terrormisu_by_Cotton_gravy.jpg

for me personally. I prefer (and it's only a personal opinion, of which I respect your own) the club to get on with what they're doing, do what they need to do, and let me know when it's all done. I don't want some goody fan representative that will "be the voice of our loyal, and passionate" supporters, it's just all a bit...naff.
