Cheers for for the recommendations . We booked a week in Montenegro at a beach hotel for a week in September last night.

It’s about a 30 minute walk to Budva too, so a good location

Can’t wait, the country looks stunning.

Definitely going the right time of year as it’s boiling in July in Budva, plus you will avoid some of the hoards of Russians who seem to descend on it during the summer.
It’s worth going to Kotor as well which isn’t that far. Don’t bother however going over the border into Croatia as it takes hours to get across due to all of the checks. Think it’s due to Montenegro being a bit dodgy, don’t worry it’s very safe, but also very corrupt.
