Which away games are you looking forward to going to this year?

Would still beat Middlesbrough away I guess.
Went to a game at Stoke early 80-ies I think. Victoria Ground. In those days a terrible city and dito ground. Game ended stale, but result didn't matter at that time. We sang 'we love you City' for about 90 minutes non stop in sunny weather.

A favourite memory is going there one Christmas with my young nephew. Tons of people in fancy dress and my nephew loved being snapped with half a dozen Santas.

There was also a squad of 'German soldiers' who Goose stepped in perfect time out of the station towards the ground and were applauded for their efforts by fans and passersby. Makes you wonder what the anti City tabloid press would make of that seeing what they did to Prince Harry doing the same.

But by far the best was a disabled lad (called Tony I think) who had to be assisted by his mates everywhere and he was carried in by a group of them and roundly booed. Why? He was dressed up a a ref! Not seen him for ages - I hope he is still around.

Depends, i'd love to get drawn away to York in a cup just so in 20 years time i could say i was there.

A number of things. Mainly we got beat 2-1! The place is a bit of a dump to say the least, the area round the stadium is crap and the drive back took about 9 hours. Would take something pretty special for me to go back!

Why not make a long weekend of it and jump on the overnight ferry to Amsterdam after the game :)

I miss Blackburn away -

I really hope we get a great new FA cup away drawer this year where we can take a huge following to somewhere new! Brighton in fact!

I want them in the Cup!

I'll have a turkey sarnie, get the missus to drop me off at the ground and then pick me up again afterwards after a few sherbets in the Walton Street club.
