Swapping my Derby ticket for a villareal ticket for my mate still regret it every time I think about it having been there so many times getting Dicked then to thrash them like we did and not be there hurts also its ironic that the only other Derby I missed in last 25years was the 2 1 Benjani cos of work maybe I should stay away everytime lol

I always regret missing the City 6-0 Swindon game. I had to choose to miss either that or the Norwich game in about 98(?).
We lost vs Norwich but I think Lee Babduy scored his 1st for us.
But I missed the Semi vs the Rags... Family commitments. Easy winner

One that always sticks out was Chelsea at home in 2004 (1-0 Anelka). I think we were the only team to beat them in the league that season.
I got jumped on my way home from work the day before and my face was covered in bruises (I could of covered the ones up on my body but I'd of looked a right **** with the state of my face from them). They didn't do a right good job to say there were 2 of them.

I've missed big games owing to financial reasons so can't really say I regret missing them because I wasn't in a position to go.
As for games I was in a position to go to, the only one that sticks in my memory was the 10-1 against Huddersfield. I had a season ticket at the time, as I do now, but on that day I was forced into going to a wedding. I was absolutely gutted when I heard the result. It was even worse when all you got was a few minutes highlights on Granada the following day.
I remember the goals being put to music on Granada Reports and Martin Tyler in a bit of a rap style saying "Waits for it to drop, it does, waits for it to drop, it does" before the music continued.
Might be on YouTube that...
