Which City game has annoyed you the most?

Every single game Stuart Bellend Pearce was in charge for ,can`t single one out ,grinds my gears when I hear the cnut on Talkshite .
I traveled over from Boston in Nov 2005 for my first ever game at the Etihad - well the CoMS then. City vs Blackburn. Pearce in charge for City; Mark Hughes for them.

Finished 0-0. I remember that Lee Croft had half a chance. That was it. No attempts on goal by either side. Awful, turgid stuff. The most entertaining part was Pearce launching a ball at a Blackburn player to take a throw in.

Shudder...I've been to a few better ones since then, thank fuck.

But on the bright side, I met a whole bunch of great City fans from the old TalkinCity message board - (some on here still) - and we drank the night away...brilliant weekend except for the match itself.

We got to 40 points by 05 March that season and that was one of them. Blackburn were doing very well under Hughes. It as an odd game to single out even though you came from Lincolnshire.

Porto

Tiatto's disallowed "offside" goal - one of the worst ever refereeing decisions (a carbon copy of the illustration in the law book of "not offside").
i still have a big scar on my shin from falling over seats when that 'goal' went in

I am sure I have answered in here but lately been thinking it was the Everton game, Peps first year, we got spanked 4-2, just after getting twatted by Leicester and Vardy. But that Everton game I was ready to give up on Pep, nearly everyone was, though Esteemed Kompany was saying we need to stick with it stick with Pep, and wow glad we did.

Well it was my first time at the stadium, hence the singling out. And I don't get there too often, even if just from Lincolnshire, Massachusetts...;)

The 2-3 defeat to the rags when 2-0 up and about to win the league was the most annoying for me. Loads of others that I would say bitterly disappointing but that one really pissed me off.

Is the correct answer. If it wasn't for an absolute corrupt **** of a ref we'd have gone in at least 5 up.

Everton home oct 2025 , bloody foreigners comng over spoiling our beautiful game with first names on their shirts

The two derby defeats in 09/10. To get beat in injury time twice in the same season vh them horrible cunts was disgusting. Probably a good few games in the 06/07 season which I've probably mentally blocked out my mind.
They are painful memories
Bowie album 'Low' about describes it.

To add to my cup final against the rags post, the other game is County at Edgeley Park, losing 3-1, pissed wet through on the Cheadle End singing you’re not fit to wear the shirt. Blues turning on blues and County fans taking the piss. Probably tbe worst experience I’ve had watching City.
It was not a good night.at all.
