I've only just seen this thread and this wanker was the first player I thought of. I remember when I was a kid that he slagged us off and had the brass neck to say Birmingham was a bigger club. Just a nasty, jealous shite at football fat bastard!

Surprises me. When he used to drink regularly in Altrincham, I’m struggling to remember a single time anyone had a bad word about him and that includes plenty of United fans.
 
Danny Mills was a prick in many respects but I'm inclined to give him a pass for his habit of trying and occasionally scoring 30-yard wonder goals.

I am a wee bit torn with my opinion on him if I’m totally honest.

I loved him at City as a player, how could you not.

I was in his company in the players lounge after a game back in the day, and my first impression was a bit mixed too.

When he left for pastures new and then onto punditry, it seemed like he had forgotten all about his bond with Manchester and has made several derisory comments about City , which cemented my feelings that he was indeed, a bit of a ****.

I am very opinionated though.

Was well past his best when he joined us and played like he just couldn't give a fuck. Made Gareth Barry look like Usain Bolt.

He also asked the board to pay off his gambling debts, thankfully the board told him in no uncertain words to fuck off

Surprised by that. Used to go and see a company that rented space in his offices and he always made be a cup of tea and we used to have a chat
