CR07 for me. I'd like to give Shrek or Wio a kicking but they would probably have a go back. In fact on second thoughts it's got to be Beckham all day long.

Beckham was actually a tough little bugger, good luck with that.

I know he gets it everywhere else and its probably one of the last things he would want but he has never had any credit on Bluemoon.

Never world class but a very decent international player. He never let his country down like Rooney and Gerrard have so often, written off by Capello when at Madrid and fought his way back in when everyone said he was finished. He always played for the team.

Forget the hype.

In what universe was Beckham tough? A snide kick when someone wasn't looking or a shove here or there makes him a shithouse in my book. Another one who got hard when someone bigger and harder was around to sort it out if someone reacted to their posturing.

Oh, and he let his country down in around three tournaments when he was dogshit and then came out afterwards saying he was shit because he was injured. Either he was shit in those tournaments because he genuinely was shit (compared to class players the mug used to get bracketed with) - which he was - or he was shit because he hid his injuries as he knew pulling out because of them would mean that he could not try to make those tournaments about brand Beckham. He claimed he hid the injuries (not plated through the pain. Hid them. He actually stated after more than one tournament that management didn't realise how injured he was). I claim he was just shite and not injured, inventing them to excuse how shite he was.

Either way, he consistently let the country down at tournaments and epitomises the worst sort of footballer. Those squads had no team spirit or belief because the so called superstar and leader was quite obviously not interested in the team and on interested in himself. Fair play to him though, he was so invested in manipulating his image through the England team that he made sure that the media always promoted the myth that he was some sort of selfless English hero, putting the team above everyone else. Mr England. So passionate that s number one aim, after a goal had been scored was that his face was at the front of all celebration pictures and not someone else's. What a twat.
