Which past City player would have prospered most under Pep

Franny Lee.

Would have scored 40 a season with the kind of creativity and opportunities Pep has the lads creating.

Of course, he might only last one game when Pep saw how much effort he would have been willing to put in to close down on the high press! :-)

Don't know if this is tongue-in-cheek COA, but I agree. I was fortunate enough to see Revie play for us and his tactical awareness was years ahead of it's time.
It was completely sincere and for that reason largely. He was a kind of Pep in a few ways.

Balloteli, Barrett, Robinho, Dzeko, Johnson, you name it.

Fuck! Even Milner would.
Balo might have drove him up the wall :') it's completely true, that any of our players would have. I'm sure Accrington, Fleetwood, Barnet, or Berwick Rangers players would improve under Pep, too.

Of all the players Paul Lake is one, perfect Pep player versatile, strong and foremost an intelligent footballer. Lakey would have been Oep’s general on the pitch. There’s lots of others too, but I’d give a shout to Peter Barnes and Gary Owen
