Which past City player would have prospered most under Pep

I think he would have thrived,as Pep is a master of knowing what makes a player tick and he doesn't seem to let his ego prevent him from getting the best out of a player.

I agree with that totally, but, Tevez as a great a player he was was not a team player. I just couldn’t see it working.

I hear what you say, but of Richards and Trippier, only one of them has gone on to a good career subsequently really. It's guesswork I suppose.
The one with the Premier League and FA Cup? Richards gets a lot of shit but he's been very unfortunate with injuries. He really didn't look out of place in a title-winning squad, and if not for the injuries, he'd be at a top 6 team in a top 5 league. He was great when we was shit and he was good when we were great.

Who had the good career? Trippier looks as though he ‘might’ go on to have a decent career now Walker is out of his way. But i wouldnt say a half decent season and a good world cup makes his career good ... yet.
.

Micah was an utter beast for a good few seasons and was immence in the 6-1. Injuries curtailed things completely but under pep he ‘couldve’ been Mendy-esque

It's amazing to think Micah Richards was ahead of Zabba for a time. Just shows what a player Zabba was really, how he rose to the challenge and surpassed Richards. On Trippier, he was way down the pecking order and it would've been a tall order to get past Micah who was only a couple of years older, and Zabba. Considering he was 22 when he moved to Burnley, in 2012, it was a good move for him as they were a Championship Team. It's testament to him that he's worked his way into this Spurs team but realistically, he was never going to force his way into the title winning City side post 2012 and still wouldn't now.

Worked his way in or got in because they sold their best RB and chose to bank the money. The £50m probably paid for a stand of seats.

Saying that he looked ok at the World Cup

Lake, and I know I will get shot for this but Dickov too. Just have a feeling his work rate and reading of the game would have given pep something to really turn into something a lot better than he ended up.

Kinky as others have said was far too lazy for pep.

Been trying to put a full team together on this :-

K. Schmeichel
T Phelan beotang Distin
Elano bernarbia
Petrov Kindkadze Robhinio
Tevez

Terry phelan was soooo fast!
