Which past City player would have prospered most under Pep

Surprised that nobody has mentioned Joey Barton yet. He may be a complete tool but I think he could have been a very good player if he had been surrounded by better players than he was at City and had been thus a less big-headed prima donna.

Paul Lake without a shadow of a doubt.
Watched Lake play every outfield position (shades of Paul Madeley rip) throughout the late 80s and early 90s; he played well in all of them apart from up front (at Everton LC qf) Central midfield was where he was at his best and with all due respect to Mel Machin ,he would hv flourished under a better manager in this role with his speed of thought ,goals dribbling skills heading ability, robust tackling and the ability to surge from midfield past challenges ....shame about the injury v Villa.

Could have been so much more if it wasn't for his temper. I was convinced he would be our Gerrard.

would love to have seen Tevez work with pep, Tevez would have given pep some tips on closing down !

I often wonder what pep would have thought of Bellamy, pep likes 100% effort in a players game. There is no doubt Bellamy like Tevez chased and gave 100%. But their personalities might have clashed !
