I can't believe Pardew is getting named. He's done exactly what Mike Ashley wants him to do. Keep them on the Prem gravy train without the distraction of Europe and not cause a stink when your best players get sold for a nice profit at the end of the season.
If he keeps them up, his job is as safe as houses.

I can see it being a big year for manager sackings for a few reasons. What's the most managers sacked in one season so far?
Allerdyce might not even make the start of the season now one of the owners is passing comment on him.
I can see why people are saying Lambert, and I would too if it weren't for the club being up for sale. If he can keep them out of the worst of a relegation fight I can't see Lerner making the club even harder to sell.

Pardew won't get sacked, he's doing exactly what Ashley wants him to. He keeps them in the league, and doesn't complain when his best players are sold. I'd go so far as to say that Pardew is one of the safest.

Fat Sam is my choice, then Monk, Irvine, Pardew.... I think the promoted clubs will stick till Christmas at least baring the unforeseen... For a surprise or maybe not on the last few seasons, the bloke at Spuds for a pre-Christmas giggle!
