Strangely enough I thought about the thread after getting into a conversation on another thread with MCFCPrague regarding a disco, which developed and I found out that we attended the same school, albeit Phil was there a few years earlier. PM's and memories were then exchanged, and thus the idea evolved.
I am slightly disappointed that nobody else is on here from Stretford Grammar or even any other school close by, but as it is probably only about 800 metres from The Swamp, maybe no surprise.
I need to remind you again that I was named Trigger because a certain part of my anatomy resembles that of a horse and not the fool from the Nicholas Lyndhurst character ;)

Hi Trig, mcfcinprague/Phil here, yeah I'm disappointed too, there were quite a few of us in my time - Les Owen, John Dinsdale, Ray Kennedy, Dave Delaney, (to name a few) who I used to go to the games with.
Not forgetting Mike Ziolo who went to Australia in '66.
None of these guys are on Friends Reunited neither, so I have never been able to get in touch with them.
This is a great thread though, and I'm glad our couple of message gave you the idea.
But, do you seriously think anyone at Greatstone Road Secondary Modern had the intelligence to follow the Blues LOL
We used to have fights with them every lunch time at the bowling alley on Greatstone Road - great days

Haha the fights continued through the years, we had many a fight with them on Gorse Park.
I went to school with Stuart Kennedy, Rays youngest brother, I think he may have had another also.
I will see if I can do some digging and try and find a contact for you.
