I was in John's class,think his brother was called Brian year above me,yes he was a nutter.Does Ian Andrews ring a bell also I think Dave Ridsdale emergrated.Are you in Perth 8 hour time difference ?I remember Dave Ridsdale, which Williams I new John to young for Roy (nutter), Mather and Adshead ring bells.
No worries mate. It was long ago, and he lived a happy and fulfilled life. He loved teaching, and was passionate about his subject. Appreciate your comments though.Writing that I kind of had that at the back of my mind Eli and it saddens me to hear it confirmed, but rest assured mate, he was a decent and fair teacher/bloke your dad, (and I would tell you if I thought otherwise), teaching a load of kids from Wythenshawe who didn't give a crap, about a subject few of us cared about couldn't have been easy, and at least he made the lessons interesting for us, my condolences.
