My dad went there.Boteler grammar school, Warrington, 1974-1979. The school was formed in 1526 so it'll be our 500th anniversary in a couple of years!

Len Carney must have been getting on a bit when was teaching you :-)Ken Munday was the games teacher. I was there from 1970 to 1978. Skinner (Len Carney) played for Liverpool, probably round about 1890.

He was the headmaster. Used to take some maths classes when the regular teachers weren't there. Offered five pence for whoever answered first. Made a few bob out of him.

Just googled him. Born May 1915 so about 56 when I went to the Grammar School. He gave me a bollocking in the yard on my first day.
