St bede's, 99-06

me too but 84 - 86 and I was in the first intake of girls into the sixth form and that was brilliant

Me too 82-89. I'd have been in 3rd or 4th year when the girls joined sixth form. There's a better than average chance I probably followed you around!! (I wasn't used to seeing women at school - it was ace!!)

He was when my brother was at the school (2000-05) but left before I joined. (Can't remember what year Walmsley left though, I'd have to ask my brother but he's currently sleeping)

Dave Walmsley was a lowly history teacher when I was at Sale Boys Grammar. I liked history before he taught me but his passion for the subject rubbed off on me. He was a great bloke, very funny and used to produce the end of year Summer Review in which places were highly coveted because Sixth Formers from Sale Girls Grammar were included.

Sounds like he would've been a lot better than the headteacher I had to put up with.. I'm pretty sure my brother liked him too.

Hodgson High School,Poulton-le-fylde,Blackpool 1997 - 2002

I was the only city fan in my year, surrounded by rags n dipppers

Trigger, looks like you've brought back memories, joined old pals, rekindled old friendships, maybe even started a few.(i think xxrachxx has got the hots for me),pity i never went to a Manc school, but fuk it,it's been good scrawling through this.
Well done Trig,
P.S. You changed that broom handle yet mate ?

Yes it seems like I actually did something right for a change!

Strangely enough I thought about the thread after getting into a conversation on another thread with MCFCPrague regarding a disco, which developed and I found out that we attended the same school, albeit Phil was there a few years earlier. PM's and memories were then exchanged, and thus the idea evolved.

I am slightly disappointed that nobody else is on here from Stretford Grammar or even any other school close by, but as it is probably only about 800 metres from The Swamp, maybe no surprise.

I need to remind you again that I was named Trigger because a certain part of my anatomy resembles that of a horse and not the fool from the Nicholas Lyndhurst character ;)

Went to Grammar school... and can't spell grammar!

Good job he didn't go to a comprehensive... now that's a very big word!

went to St Anthonys in manchester untill yr 8. Then moved to Hastings and went to William Parker. The same school as none other than Gareth Barry. used to speak to him every now and again, little did i know he'd end up playing for my club!
