Trigger, looks like you've brought back memories, joined old pals, rekindled old friendships, maybe even started a few.(i think xxrachxx has got the hots for me),pity i never went to a Manc school, but fuk it,it's been good scrawling through this.
Well done Trig,
P.S. You changed that broom handle yet mate ?

Yes it seems like I actually did something right for a change!

Strangely enough I thought about the thread after getting into a conversation on another thread with MCFCPrague regarding a disco, which developed and I found out that we attended the same school, albeit Phil was there a few years earlier. PM's and memories were then exchanged, and thus the idea evolved.

I am slightly disappointed that nobody else is on here from Stretford Grammar or even any other school close by, but as it is probably only about 800 metres from The Swamp, maybe no surprise.

I need to remind you again that I was named Trigger because a certain part of my anatomy resembles that of a horse and not the fool from the Nicholas Lyndhurst character ;)

I'm ex Stretford Grammar, long time after you though 1994-2001. There were about 10 blues in our entire year of about 150, all season ticket holders or match going blues though, very few of the rags went. You just can't get the tickets you see? There were quite a few teachers who taught me who had been at the Boys school, i know as my dad went to the old boys school.

St Marks... Didsbury ...... 80 to 85

Do you remember Sassy .... Mr Smith the bearded Sasquatch.

Mr Horrocks.. deputy head with the strap.

Mr Connolly ..sports teacher..... liked a tipple at lunchtime in the Parrswood.

Wilbraham high 1976-1981 fuckin hated school.
One or two of the original moss side gang members attended at the time.
Irony is i hated school so much i now work at wright robinson in gorton as a learning mentor, something i could not have predicted 30 years ago.

I'm 32 now and as far as I am aware several on here were at the school at the same time and probably know me.

Saw Sassy playing in a band in Stockport a few months ago, and Connolly is still on the pop in Didsbury!

When i occasionally attended, the Mirror sports reporter Simon Mullock was there, seem to remember him as a blue, but hey, have killed an awful lot of brain cells since then...
