Which town (or city) stands out as the least aesthetically pleasing away day you've visited?

Grimsby, with Wembley a very close second
It’s nice around Wembley. Just the pubs are shit.

On a few of our trips I’ve had a good walk around the area and surrounding areas and it’s spotless. It’s full of people, always!, and a lot of shit shops and market stalls selling tat, but it’s still nice.

Makes even some so-called nicer areas of Manchester (like Chorlton-cum-Hardy, for example) look like a fucking tip and it’s nowhere near one of London’s nicer areas.

King Edward VII Park, Wembley Hill Road, Wembley Park Road, Alperton, Sudbury, Perivale, Brent etc. are tree-lined and lovely and they’re all around the Wembley area. The Sanatan Temple is one of the top buildings in the entire British Isles. Then you have Wembley itself and all the new hotels and places to eat.

I think it’s nice round there.

They would never have gone anywhere near Middlesbrough apart from matchdays. Some beautiful places in North Yorkshire where they all live

Think I'll Goggle it out of interest.

Grim.

One the worst away grounds to go to.

Can't remember us ever playing in Grimsby :)
We don't play away games in Manchester very often. In fact the only two I remember were Newcastle in the cup when they were banned from playing at home (74-75 IIRC) and the friendly v Jamaica before the 1998 World Cup.

Middlesbrough by a mile - lived nearby for 25 years - barely ever been there except to drop off or pick up my daughter for work then I hightail out of the place. There and the Tees Valley have been on life support since the early 80's - don't believe the shite you may see from Houchen
