Which watch do you wear?

Let's face it your mobile is more accurate than any watch.
Watches are jewellery for ponces.

I'm a watch freak. Got loads, some cheap some dear, nothing silly though. My favourites are Hugo boss, collected quite a few over the years. I'm mad for them.
I often do a search on my year of birth in the watch section on eBay and I've collected some nice ones this way. Obviously this wouldn't work for you, as watches when you were born were still kept in waistcoat pockets on long chains ;-)
Apple 'watches' are for cunts. I mean how hard is it to take your iPhone out of your pockets and look at it you lazy fuckers?

Tag H. f1. Daily.
Tag H. Monaco. Best
Marvin Revue. Gold. Fathers retirement watch from Army. Weddings/funerals.
The Monaco was a couple of grand, but unless I lose any they will all be with me forever. Not like an I phone...whatever that is.

Never appreciated the value of 'jewellery' watches that cost an absolute fortune (don't get gold/platinum rings or chains either) so have always gone for something quite rugged yet not too expensive. To me a watch is something to wear in all conditions and subsequently I don''t want to have to remove it whenever there is a risk of getting my hands wet which is why, this time, to follow previous Casio G-Shock watches I opted for this eye-catching little beauty ..... I present for your pleasure the G-7900A-7ER

Casio for work, Rado or Gucci at the weekend if going out somewhere nice. Did have an Omega speed master , the moon watch, sold that wished I had kept it now. Tag Heuer worst watches on the market, poor quality movement. I bought an Omega replica in Turkey many years ago, by the time the ship sailed all the numbers had dropped off and collected in the bottom of the face !
Not true about Tag,silly statement really.I have been wearing them for about 20 years now, never missed a beat, like virtually any other watch.

If you rate Tags fair enough, my experience of them has been greatly different to yours.
Even 20 years ago their servicing costs were huge, saying that , none are reasonably priced today.

I've now moved on and have my holy grail of a watch, Rolex dateless Submariner.
Recently sold a Breitling Super Ocean limited edition, lovely watch , but I can't keep them all.
Also just sold 2 Bell & Ross, a BR02 and a BR03 Aviator.
In the process of having a Raymond Weil Cosi Grande refurbished, the strap arrived for it yesterday, made by John Glance of Munich, also known as Dangerous 9.
Finally I have managed to source a Seiko auto relay Great Blue, very rare in mint condition.
On my wrist today is of all things an Apple Watch !
