I find the bickering and irrational tripe I have read even more depressing. Everyone from the injured players, to the tea lady and other fans seem to be copping it,its at times like this we should be pulling together and getting behind the team.
I'm not a great fan of Hughes but I think we could be making a serious mistake by dispensing with his services in the next few weeks. I believe that the club has a plan to review his position after the end of the season, this is based upon the fact that any targets that they have in mind won't be available until then. If we were to fire Hughes what would we do in the meantime? Who would step in as a temporary manager?
Furthermore all the planning for the January transfer window has been done with Hughes at the helm and we know what a folly it is for a manager to inherit new players who he hasn't chosen. I hope that the Club keeps its nerve more than some of the people on the message boards.
