Who’s gone in the summer?

Why on earth would either go to Arsenal? Bernardo especially when the biggest issue he appears to have is living in England
Well he might not have much choice as there doesn't seem to be any money in the other leagues. I believe weather is a big factor. Of that's the case, London has markedly better weather than Manchester.

Still doubt either would even consider it, why would either player want to step down to not be playing European football? I think they’ll both end up getting moves, maybe loans with obligations to buy, but if not surely they’d both rather wait and play another year for the champions than sign a big contract for a club they don’t particularly want to join.
could be completely wrong but that’s the way I see it personally.

If Bernardo and Jesus want to leave, Atletico this is a great option for them, they both go in one direction, João Felix the other direction. Great deal for both sides.

Good point. 60m valuation for each of them against 120m on Felix. Ideal player for the false 9 position.

But these kind of swaps are notoriously difficult to pull off because of agent fees etc.

I'd love to see what Jesus and Felix could do together with the former's workrate and the latter's flair and skill.

Foden/Sterling Felix Jesus/Mahrez

On what planet is an overhyped overpriced lightweight flop like Felix worth two multiple champions in their prime? Dearie me

On his book value from two summers ago. Signed a seven year contract, they aren't going to take a loss on him.

Two players who are surplus to requirements and/or want to leave for lifestyle reasons.

I'd prefer the prospect of selling Bernardo for closer to £100 million and keeping Jesus. But there is no realistic prospect of that when the clubs we could ordinarily demand that kind of sum from are skint.

Really wouldn't want to lose Laporte. He's hardly 2nd choice, an injury forced that last season but Dias and Stones won't always be at their best, they're going to dip and give Laporte chances and vice-versa.

We need Jesus too, not got a striker yet, so no chance he's leaving. That may change once a striker comes through the door.

I'll be gutted to lose Bernardo but we're most equipped in that area.

Of course our valuation needs to be met, they've all got long contracts, so no need to force it on our part.
