Agrero, Dzeko, Kompany, Tevez, Hart, Nasri probably) and Silva. And the likes of De Jong
and Yaya aren't a million miles away either? What do you think? And how many true worldies do Chavski have, or the rags for that matter? Not as many, methinks.

Not seen enough of & Dezeko at international level to be honest because to be world class you have to consider international form as well as club form

Yaya - outstanding but not world class

That's not true, though. It depends how good your international side is. If Messi was from Lichtenstein, he would rarely get the chance to shine. Even with Argentina, he isn't great and you wouldn't say he wasn't world class.

All of the rags players are world class, I thought you'd know that.
In fact there is a petition being put to the FA for them to donate money so that statues of the rag squad can be erected in Surrey, Essex, Norfolk and Lincolnshire as they are the next generation saviours of English football.
Without the rags past and present, we wouldn't have enjoyed the unprecedented success that our national team has enjoyed over the past twenty years

World class has no boundaries or specifics so it's a load of bollocks!

There have been players in times since media coverage of football who have been the superstars: Di Stefano, Garrincha, Pele, Cruyff, Maradonna, Zidane, Ronaldo, Messi, CRonaldo.
There have also been many many others who have been superb players: Edwards, Beckenbaur, Revelino, Bell, Best, Müller, Zico, Dalglish, Platini, van Basten, Mattheus, Gasgoine, Romario, Stoichkov, Maldini, Roberto Carlos, Figo, Rivaldo, Bergkamp, Henry, Gerrard, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Iniesta, Xavi.

In my opinion, if you're not in this class then you're not world class. We've got a lot of young players who could be mentioned with these players later in their careers after they've proved themselves for a prolongued perdiod of time. But In my opinion we have no world class players. Neither do United. Neither do Chelsea. In fact, there's probably only about four world class players in the world at the moment!

England won the World Cup with 5 World Class Players.

Banks, Moore, Charlton, Ray Wilson and Jimmy Greaves. We must have something approaching that now.

Maybe Messir form has been up and down internationally but he also plays in the CL in which many teams are better than some international teams and he is absolutely stunning

For me we will see just how good our players actually are when we play in the CL against top top clubs - i think offesnsively we are outstanding i think defensively collectively we may find it harder than we think.

Defining world class is difficult it like defining what is a big club - its opinions - for me if you are in the top 20 in your nominal position in the world you are world class.

Castrol rankings are a good place to start i guess

And Johnny Evans is the jewel in the crown.

But you've seen enough of Aguero? Or it just "seems" so? World Cup 2010 qualifiers Dzeko was joint second topscorer in the UEFA zone - with a certain ex-bald rag (9 goals from 10 matches). Dzeko's international record is 36/18. Precisely 1 goal per 2 matches.

Of all of them, we are the squad most equipped to maintain the early momentum. We have more depth than the others.

i watched more spanish football than say Bundersleigh football because quite simply because La Liga is on sky so yes seen more of Aguero than any German footballer.

What you say about Dezeko is no doubt correct but i equally have no doubt that some of of the teams in that qualifying group are not as good as say the last 16 teams on the CL or maybe get through the group stages of the CL and maybe would not beat the current City team.

Someone asked a question and invited peoples view - my view is that the top top players (world class) do it domestically tend to play in La Liga - Prem - Seria A (but getting shittier) and Bundersleigh - perform well internationally and / or in the CL and tend to play in the top teams - Dzeko / Kompany and a few others tick most of those boxes and maybe after this seasons CL they will tick that box as well

And by the way i would not swop Dzeko for anyone as he is without doubt an outstanding player and he seems a quality guy to boot.
