A cup run would have been nice so I do care that we lost to a team a division lower than us at home. I will know that City are serious force when we do have cup runs and stop this shameful habit of losing to lower league sides.

Unless things shape up fast in the league and we scrape our way into the top 6 which at the moment is a more distant than what people make out, or unless we win the uefa cup which seenings as we cant beat notts forest, west brom and blackburn...how are we gonna do away at the san siro or other top clubs that have euro experience in them for the past 10+ years. We wont attract players of top calibra if we arent even in the uefa cup. This wa a big chance to win something and show people we mean business on the field and we fell at the 1st hurdle. Lets just hope istanbul is not a distant dream and we can go all the way,. Cuz theres 45,000 fans each week that care and many more that cant get to a game that care and 800 billion quids worth of funding up for stake if everyone takes that fkin atitude!
