Not that I recall. Sven Jackson followed me to the States but came back after a year and joined the Police, IIRC. Wonder if he ever arrested himself for never returning the suitcase I LOANED him to get all his American shit home?!

You must’ve been a Few years behind me, I knew Mark well, had trials at Chadserton FC and he played for Hollinwood as well, he did have a trial at the rags but a think it was a groin injury that put paid to his footballing career. My brother was in his year couldn’t elieve it when he told me he was in Take That, really nice lad always got the birds even before TT.

My younger brother was in his year at Holy Rosary juniors and St. Anselm's seniors

Think they went for 2 week trials but didn’t make the cut , vaguely remember Sven . Antler quality baggage , think everyone in Mossley had one ; )

If memory serves he was banned from Maine Rd by the club after the infamous Spurs quarter final, could well of been his City tattoo that identified him , problem was that he came back as a player with Crewe while still being subject to a ban :)

we lived on small shaw lane and my dad used to take me to the park most nights after his work,Steve used to come around from some houses at the bottem of king georges with a load of his mates and play with us,i remember one lad we called " peanut "

Use to be another lad called Gaz Fitzgerald who came through at the same time from Ashton, played for City up-to reserve level. Both very good players.

Nicky Maynard is the only one I can think of. In the same year at high school.

Was pretty good to be fair to him. He stood out in the teams he played in, but never stood out as exceptional, from what I remember.
