My younger brother was in his year at Holy Rosary juniors and St. Anselm's seniorsYou must’ve been a Few years behind me, I knew Mark well, had trials at Chadserton FC and he played for Hollinwood as well, he did have a trial at the rags but a think it was a groin injury that put paid to his footballing career. My brother was in his year couldn’t elieve it when he told me he was in Take That, really nice lad always got the birds even before TT.

If memory serves he was banned from Maine Rd by the club after the infamous Spurs quarter final, could well of been his City tattoo that identified him , problem was that he came back as a player with Crewe while still being subject to a ban :)I think I did, certainly know his name.

Use to be another lad called Gaz Fitzgerald who came through at the same time from Ashton, played for City up-to reserve level.
