no. i think we should not get rid of ANYBODY! players play differently under different managers. e.g. garrido might turn out better than bridge.

Dead right, just watch the change in EVERYONE now we've got a manager who knows the game inside out, watch the confidence come back, it has already, we'll be much harder now in terms of possession football, chasing and closing down when we haven't got the ball, the defence will be much stronger as a unit and less prone to ridiculous schoolboy individual errors, team spirit will grow and we'll become indomitable, that's how teams win cups and titles.
Mancio can do this for us ! He's done it before and he's only 45, why can't he be successful for years with us!!

Totally agree. Furthermore it remains to be seen who Mancio would bring in at a time like January apart from what has been speculated in the media; so whatever happens we must buy before we sell.

(Apart from Benji obviously. Feel sorry for that guy, he's been a dead man walking longer than Hughes and look whose lasted longer!)

Richard Dunne. I know he was suspended for red cards, but it seems far too long even for him.

Should not have to let anyone go at this juncture.

All players can fight for a position in the team without compromise.

With injuries and suspensions we need more rather than thinking of letting anyone go combined with the fact that if we manage to qualify for Europe next season we will have to bolster further.

Competition for all places is good and while I doubt we will buy anyone of note in January we have to look at improving the depth and quality of the squad over summer.

We are thin at the back at present and with injuries to all our attack minded midfielders it would be nice to bring in 2 defenders and one midfielder in January to bolster the areas we need strengthening.

Talk of letting anyone go when we don't have to sell and should not have to sell is silly.

If an offer too good to refuse for the likes of Benjani and one or two other fringe players comes in then we may consider it.

Anybody thinking of letting the likes of RSC and Robby go irrespeective of whether we bring in new players in January but more particularly in summer is very short sighted.

Most of us would like RD back now and I said at the time it was a mistake to let him go along with Elano and I have not changed my mind on that and would not even if the likes of Lescott, Nedum and Toure where firing and injury free ditto Ireland, SWP , Johnson.

You need serious competition for every place on the pitch if you are to challenge the likes of Chelsea , Arsenal and Manure for example over 38 games.

K, we all know we have a squad of around 30 players..and let's be honest..we have to cut that down to about 22ish..The players i think that should leave city are: Santa Cruz, garrido,Robinho, onuoha and maybe SWP if we get another midfielder..

How dare you...SWP? Shaun is a brilliant and granted sometimes inconsistent player but he is one of a kind and has been a healthy constant during this tumultuous decade. Why would we ever let him leave? If anything put him on the bench in case someone is injured or bring him on late in the game and have him make a run at someone with his electrifying speed. THE DAY SWP LEAVES IS THE DAY I TAKE A HIATUS FROM CITY.

He has been my favourite player for years even when he was at chelsea it still felt like he was one of us. Always wanted to watch him playl. Naive but i fell in love early and it stuck. Tbh ive been dissappointed with him a lot recently just think he could be more on the ball/alert/looking for it more, like the old days. Pass it off more.
