No doubt we still have gaps in our attack. with the rumors tevez will be leaving, add to it balo not being so successful this season, i think we need to make some changes forward during the summer transfer window.

I cant see any body better for the moment than adel taarabt. he's got everything we need at the moment, and which balo doesnt have btw.

- you might argue, he had problems with spurs but he has matured, else he would have been made captain of his team.
-plus he is already familiar with life in the uk and its football culture.
-he's got the play making skills and the aggressiveness we need at the moment.

I am sure if we dont get him, many other clubs will and the first would be arsenal.

read this article to know what made him change so much after spurs.

How many more players do you think you really want since Mancini has spent more than £100million on new players already?

It is not about players. It is about how good you use the current players. Barry and Milner were Aston Villa best players back then. Full of speed and influence. Look at how they played under Mancini.

Edin Dzeko was German Champion. He scored against Man Utd with ease. Look at how he played now under Mancini.

David Silva struggled at first. But thanks to Tevez helping him. He looks good.

Kolarov was the player that Mourinho wanted to buy. Look at how he played now under Mancini.

Be4 considering who to bring in next summer, perhaps better to consider if a new manager should come in.

Kompany was our average defensive cover. Look at how he played now under Mancini.

De Jong was good but people rarely talks about him outside. Look at how he played now under Mancini.

Tevez wasn't challenging for top goalscorer in the past. Look at how he played now under Mancini.

Micah Richards OFTEN always loses concentration. Look at how he played now under Mancini.

i agree mostly. however i think we do well by the end of this season, its very likely that mancini stays. in that case he will have to keep building further the team. in case tevez leaves, we need a replacement. plus, balo is not mature enough to be trusted for full time game attendance.

Kompany was a defensive midfielder at first. He played well now as CB. But don't forget, Mancini plays negative football - overly cautious. 3 central midfielders made Kompany's job easier, made attackers' job harder.

Negative tactics - easier for defenders like Kompany, harder for attackers like Tevez.

Thus some of you fans think Kompany is your best player this season ahead of Tevez, but forgot about how hard Tevez was doing his job.

De Jong was always a fighter when Mark Hughes was still the manager. Not much difference about him under Mancini. Again, like the defenders, as a defensive midfielder, under negative tactics, he looks more important than Tevez. So people NOTICED him.

Tevez was injured pre-season when 1st joined Man City. He started firing a lot of goals when Mark Hughes was still in charge. But just too late to save Mark Hughes from the sack.

Tevez said Mark Hughes should have been given more chance perhaps because he knew this: If given more time, his goals could have saved Sparky.

So, saying that Mancini improved Tevez is like a joke. Tevez is like Messi, ALWAYS plays the same. The difference is - Fergie restricted his talent by asking him to play specific way, but both Sparky and Mancini gave him the freedom.

Micah Richard still occasionally lost concentration.

So, overall, there isn't much improvement on the players. Just that the tactics have change:

Sparky - Aggressive football, but defenders failed him miserably.

Mancini - Negative football, overly-cautious tactics. Defenders' jobs getting easier, but aggressiveness has been sacrificed for defense. Boring and ineffective.

Wouldnt mind us signing Clichy from Arsenal (or another attacking fullback who can defend aswell)
Another striker when tevez leaves ( Aguero? Ibrahimovic? Pato? any of those would be nice)
Atleast one Center mid and another playmaker.
With all these things covered we should really be pushing for the title next year!
