It's happening.....
Not necessarily disagreeing but out of curiosity which players would anyone currently describe as the world's best? We’ve to totally back maresca, he’s got virtually the impossible job following pep, we can’t go down the rag route after the pisscan left & keep sacking managers, if we don’t win anything under maresca till he beds in then so be it, we’ve no divine right to win trophy’s every season, the only worry from me is he doesn’t have the aura like pep did to attract the worlds best? time will tell, up the fuckin blues;)
Totally agree. There could well be a few bumps along the way, but lets show a little patience and understanding as and when. The fans, players and the club have got a massive part to play for whatever happens next.
Having stumbled across the match day thread on the odd occasion I'm not convinced that will happen. I live in hope though ;-)Totally agree. Vinny has that AuraWe’ve to totally back maresca, he’s got virtually the impossible job following pep, we can’t go down the rag route after the pisscan left & keep sacking managers, if we don’t win anything under maresca till he beds in then so be it, we’ve no divine right to win trophy’s every season, the only worry from me is he doesn’t have the aura like pep did to attract the worlds best? time will tell, up the fuckin blues;)
There is full backing which he deserves and will get but we also have to make sure it doesn't turn to blind faith. There is no guarantee he is the right man, he has comparatively no real record to suggest success will come. so as much as he'll get backing and time, he won't get what Pep would get, nobody else warrants that.
It's happening.....
Strachan?Give it to bloody Gordon
Imagine the outrage on RAWK?Get Klopp out of retirement or whatever he's doing now. Hopefully Pep was right about seeing him in the premier ship again.....
It's like following Queen at Live Aid.We’ve to totally back maresca, he’s got virtually the impossible job following pep, we can’t go down the rag route after the pisscan left & keep sacking managers, if we don’t win anything under maresca till he beds in then so be it, we’ve no divine right to win trophy’s every season, the only worry from me is he doesn’t have the aura like pep did to attract the worlds best? time will tell, up the fuckin blues;)
Agreed. Pep came and had a look in his first season and we won nothing. Whoever comes in will need time. We have a quality starting 11 with potential problems in midfield - Bernie’s departure, Foden’s loss of form and Rodri’s injuries/future we also don’t have much on the bench - that’ll needs sorting and will take time. We could have problems in getting rid of players who are just not good enough - Sav, Nico, Rico and Reijnders and that won’t be down to the new manager.
See i keep on hearing this but realistically in the current managerial market who actually does? We’ve to totally back maresca, he’s got virtually the impossible job following pep, we can’t go down the rag route after the pisscan left & keep sacking managers, if we don’t win anything under maresca till he beds in then so be it, we’ve no divine right to win trophy’s every season, the only worry from me is he doesn’t have the aura like pep did to attract the worlds best? time will tell, up the fuckin blues;)
