Who do you want as the next manager...

Anyone know if Fabien Delph is available?

We might need to learn the basics of football all over again!

I am very happy with the choice of Maresca.
If the club who recruited him and watched him work then choose to take him on again, it is good enough for me.
I do not know who is available in the world game who I would prefer. Iraola clearly did an exceptional job at Bournemouth, so possibly, but I cannot think of any definites.
I am sure that Vinny will return at some point, and I am certain that Gundo will make a formidable tactician once his playing days are through.

I’ll take what I’m given, so presumably Maresca, but there are many good managers that I don’t think would let us down if they were appointed. Beyond the usual ‘glamour’ suspects, Guardiola has always shown a lot of admiration for Marco Silva, Daniel Farke, and even Ange Postecoglou, which is probably partly down to their footballing ethos but also to the type of person they are, something which is often under appreciated. Not saying I prefer them, just pointing out that if the club were to appoint someone of that ilk, I wouldn’t be in the queue for the Bluemoon Wipes.

We've got to back Maresca. Of course we have, but fans always back the manager to start with.
Horton after Reid, nobody wanted him, Brian Who, but we backed him especially when we had results other than 0-0, 1-0 (Quinn) and 1-0 (White).
Royle: Had a third of the season to lift us one place to safety and failed, but we still backed him the following year.
Pearce: It took that bloody awful no home goals after Jan 1st season for fans to realise he was clueless and even then some wouldn't criticise, see the blue on blue stuff at Blackburn.
Hughes: Not making any progress but supported until Bobby Manc arrived.
Pellers: Not welcomed warmly by many but supported by most and won us trophies.
As fans we always support the manager, and the club must support the manager in the transfer market. But we also have a right to criticise when things go wrong whether that's unsuitable tactics for the players available or having to play sub-standard players. We pissed ourselves when the rags claimed they'd got an £80 million player for £40 million, and he turned out to be a £10 million player. We have to make sure we don't fall into that trap again as we seem to have done with a couple of recent signings.
But yes we'll support whoever the club choose.
The only time I would expect an issue is if a top manager became available and the club didn't try to get him.

Chappy with Marseca and Warnock as assistants, Pulis as set piece coach and Immel as GK coach he needs the cash.

Mancini! o oh
Mancini! o o o oh

Not saying that he’s my choice, because to be honest I cannot identify anyone who fits the role.

I realized Coventry’s promoted and won their league. Highest goals scored, lowest goals against.

Frank Lampard has been inspired by Pep style football. Not to say that he’d be even a chance as our manager, but it’s doubly interesting now that there are two Pep apprentices. Lampard frequently approached Pep for guidance, and Lampard credited Pep for Coventry winning the title.

Not many shouts on here for the bournemouth manager. I would love him high press football getting out on the wings to doku and semenyou. The sensible option would be Enzo as his football is basically peps so the players don't really need to have to change much. I think Enzo will do good but would love to see and change in the way we play.
