Who else do you want?

After the capture of Edin, i now feel we are near completion as a squad. Who else can you see, adding to the team at the moment?

I know some people don't rate kolo and some don't rate joleon, but our defence has been solid of late, whether one or another have been alongside vince. We also have boateng who is a CBreally and will one day make that slot his own.


Midfield, johnno, micheal johnno, nige, barry, silva, yaya, swp, milner, vieira

forwards, tevez, dzeko, mario, jo, ade,

I can't help thinking that another midfielder, as cover for vieira when he calls it a day, would see us over the line.

Any suggestions?

I think we need cover for Silva - But I think we have hit the point of not needing it to be a big name as we have a squad that should still be able to win games even if a key player is missing. We need to be picking out young talents and developing them.

Yes mate, that was my thinking another creative player, when paddy goes, to compliment our midfield battlers. Iniesta a bridge to far methinks! I was thinking more like krancjar.

if we're talking cover for silva, then iniesta surely can't be considered. that's ridiculous. let's buy one of the world's top 5 players in case our creative midfielder gets injured. if assulin is all he's cracked up to be then i'd like to see silva take him under his wing and mould him into his natural successor.

I would have thought the only position we need to look at is an attacking right back? I'm not convinced Richards should be first choice, and as somebody pointed out already, Boateng is really a CB. Zaba is a great player, but we want a Kolarov for the right.

I think the only thing we really lack now is a creative midfielder who can play the same role as silva. Yaya just isnt quite right for that role..he is more of a driving force box to box player (in my opinion that is his best role)....we also have Michael johnson who can do that role (though some seem to have written him off)

Cover for Hart perhaps if Shay leaves?????

now just to get rid of the likes of Jo RSC and we would have a great squad.

Then all RM has to do is keep them all happy (NOT an easy task!!!!)
