Who has been to the most City games on here?

Amazing mate, well impressed
Its odd really, The whole family as far as I can tell were blues, Mum can clearly remember her Grandad talking about following city & he was born around 1865,
I can remember as a kid talking to my Grandad on my Dads side about Hyde Road & the move to Maine Road, him & my Nan used to follow city all over the country, I just wish I had asked more questions while I had the chance!

Saw my first City game in 73, and went a fair bit home and away in the 80s and 90s. It seems at times the worse we got the more I went! (probably like a lot of us) These days I do about 2 or 3 a season, so probably nowhere near some of the impressive numbers being mentioned on here.
Without getting too much into the old 'trainspotter' type territory I was working out how many different teams I've actually seen us play against (1st team, not reserves/youth/EDS). One day (obviously when very bored) I worked out that Young Boys was the 86th different one. Although I've done a few European home ones the number was very much bulked up by our travels up and down the divisions over the years.
This got me thinking about how many teams somebody who's being going since the 60s/70s and is lucky enough to have done European away games will have seen us play against.l?
Okay, maybe this is getting into trainspotter territory but it's a lot less negative/toxic than those matchday threads!!!

Just thinking, in a few years time if the media get their dream I can add a few of my local(ish) teams to me that i've seen us play to that list. AFC Fylde, Bamber Bridge, Lancaster City!!!

Rough maths

1983-96, 99% of home league and cup games = 260, plus 4/5 aways most years so maybe 310

96-2000, was a student and moved to Edinburgh so maybe 50% of home league and cup = 50, plus a handful of aways so 55

2000-2009, no kids worked full time, still coming down from Edinburgh but 99% of home league and cups so maybe 200, plus 50-75% of aways so call it 320

2009-2017, moved to Finland but managed about 50-75% of home league and cups so maybe 120 plus 3/4 aways and cup finals a season so an extra 25 making it 125

2017-2023, back in Edinburgh but many kids so 90% of home league and cups so maybe 130, plus 6/7 aways a season so maybe 170 in total

So to the start of this season I reckon somewhere about 980 so probably around the 1000 mark as of today

Maths is likely wrong though, I’m tired and old

Good thread but I’ve no clue , done 86 English & welsh grounds watching us plus 14 in Europe.
And a marriage ( which turned out well probably the best thing to come from watching us).

First game in 1976 Vs Arsenal Brian Kidd played for Arsenal that day, Joe Royle up top for us in a 3-1 win,. Anyhow, not missed that many home games since and a fair few awys, particularly in the 80s and 90 s… Wild guess at 30 games per season on average, so somewhere in the 1400 City games region for me… Massive respect to those blues that have more than me and are still regular followers of our wonderful club
