It has to be Foden. Maybe the keeper should have saved that shot but that was a missile. It was like a shot out of the comic books where if the keeper had taken it he'd have been carried into the net.

Hard to believe that a player who is so small should be able to deliver such power.

I remember when TV used to record how fast a ball had travelled by measuring distance / time. Peter Lorimer used to be regarded as having the hardest shot in English football. I don't remember any City players being notorious for their shooting. Alan Shearer and Roberto Carlos are players I remember who hit the ball really hard. Beckham bent it. I'd have liked to have been behind the goal when Foden hit that.

Walker imo. He fizzes the ball. Unstoppable sometimes.

Last nights by foden was good though. We were sat right behind it and the ball moved so much and so fast it confused the goal keepers hands.

That rings a bell. That Foden shot was a rocket though. Had everything. Swerve and power. At that moment every City player was just hitting it.

I was sat directly behind him when the shot was struck. The power and swerve were absolutely incredible.

I keep shouting at Eddie when he's strolling half way up the pitch and the opposition are retreating, to have a shot. He never has so we don't know if his kick can be converted into a shot, but if I were an oppo goalie in a pen shootout and it's got to 10-10 and Eddie's walking up to the pen spot I wouldn't want to get in the way of it!

I was about to say Aguero hits the ball as cleanly and as hard as anyone. Remember one against Sunderland being particularly powerful. Young Phil can certainly hit them as well. Rodri and Cancelo and KDB can also be very powerful when they catch it right.

That's a good one. I like it when it crashes in off the bar. Aguero's shots often curled but I can't recall seeing a shot as hard as the one Foden hit.

They used to measure how fast a ball travelled but I don't think they do that any more.
