Who Is The Best Keeper Of All Time?

Iirc Banks, Zoff and Trautmann were brought together at the Ritz to be interviewed. The journalist commented on Bert wanting "Pie and chips" then started asking Gordon Banks about goalkeeping, Gordon said Why are you asking me? Everything I know I learnt from watching Bert.

So Bob Wilson, Gordon Banks and Lev Yashin all agree.

Best Keeper Bert Trautmann.

Yashin actually said "there have only ever been two world class goalkeepers lev yashin and the german boy who played in manchester"

To be fair I did know what Yashin said, I was just using a little 'artistic licence' to back up the Gordon Banks story.

I remember Zaki Badou from the WC '86 in Mexico. But I don't think he upheld that level of insanely high quality for any lengthier period of time.

The Great Dane I'd say is the best ever.
