I am a claims handler and one of my collegues took a call recently that went "While I was on holiday my daughter stole £1000.00 out of my safe, she decided to put it back but had lost the key to the safe so she hid the money in a field in Kent. When she went to retrieve it it was gone...can I claim for that?"
