Who now then?...

I read something the other day that psg was looking at kante but Chelsea wanted 130 million. Probably bollocks but I don't think they let him go for 60
 
Ndombele or Rabiot maybe?

Kante is probably unrealistic, they'll offload Bakayoko and Drinkwater before they get rid of their best player if they need to make room for Jorginho.
 
Kante is off to PSG apparantly or so the rumours go.
Quite a turnover of players when/if Sarri turns up.
Those who down tools every alternate season will be gone.

Witsel looked immense when he was younger but then plateau'd. A Europa League English team would probably be his level, not near good enough for City tbh.
 
Too bad Danilo (from Porto) got injured. We were linked last summer and he might fit the mold we are looking for at DM.
 
At this point, considering Fernandinho's age and lack of a true backup, we'd be looking for a longer term signing.

Not entirely sure of who's available in the market, but I would love a Moussa Dembele type midfielder who can muscle people off the ball and be patient with the ball until a good option going forward is available.
 
William carvahlo? Should be available on a free after half the team canceled their sporting contracts.
