Who runs a business and how's trade?

E-commerce, 30-40% down on last year and down even on pre-Covid figures.

People I network with in e-commerce - but specialising in different products and niches - are reporting the same thing, some even further down than us.

Pretty grim. Seems like a lot of people are really feeling things now and have less money in their pockets for discretionary purchases.

I'm exactly the same, people are struggling financially so aren't spending, tough times ahead

Have a chain of shops and I wholesale, small drop in turnover but nothing significant yet thankfully

Out of curiosity, what is it that you're reliant upon? Or to rephrase, what needs to happen for the business to succeed?

Any ideas as to what could be the cause?

I run a vacuum repair business, quiet atm. It sucks.

Business is more or less the same as last year.....however we launder for the tourist trade and seeing as more people are going on more short breaks we are doing more laundry per unit per week but with less units due to people selling, thanks mainly to the Welsh governments inept handling of their only growth industry.
