Who should the captain be ?

Simply- nope.

Walker having the armband is a microcosm of what this team is all about right now- past it, lost the plot, no hunger, and zero ability to impact a game when it needs to be picked up and dealt with.

Your captain should be a player who the other team looks over to and shudders.

I've not watched a City game in almost 10 years where I fully expected we'd lose by a hatful and we likely should and could have lost 7-0. At least a small part of that is because in past years there was a captain who would stick his boot up the arse of the other players when needed- maybe not Silva as much as Fern and Vinny- but he commanded respect. Walker doesn't have that anymore and should not be wearing the armband.

Fair enough. I don’t see it as that important and neither does Pep.

Before the voting system was initiated, the captain was the longest serving player for Pep.
 
Whoever the team pick should be the captain. They would no more than fans.

For me if its walker or dias in not really arsed as long as the players are behind them - because they pick them. Simple really, not sure why it needs a thread as it just doesn't matter if the boys are picking who they want. Unless it's just about hating walker or something?!?
