TBH I certainly don't take your disagreeing with me personally, i quite enjoy the debate.

I do understand how wickepedia works and realise it is opinion... just like this forum. As for evidence his success as a coach, IMO speaks for itself.

To answer Clubbers point, I understand Rijkaard had to have an enforced vacation for 12/18 months on accounf=t of the fact he was having some taxation problems which meant he would be hammered if he went back to work (I don't know if this is factual nor do I have and information about the Italian revenue so i cannot back this up).

Just chill man. i want Rijkaard, you dont. I'd gladly take Hiddink or Jose (who wouldn't?) but I firmly believe Rijkaard could be a realistic option.

Remind me... who would you like?

If Hiddink of Jose rocked up, i really couldn't complain. I think they'd be given much more time and leeway (sp?) too which would make everything much easier and the ride much more bearable.

As a mentioned though, the people who are saying "Jose" are the same who are starting threads saying our players aren't ggod enough; Robinho should fuck off, Ade is lazy, SWP is shite etc etc We'll finish mid table. What i don't get is how these same people think that Jose; The best manager in the world (TM) is a viable option? Is it purely based on our money?

Whislt i don't think Hughes is up to it long term, can i ask how you make out that our first semi final in 29 years incorporates into this "disaster from day one".

He's hardly Les Reed or Sammy Lee.

Anyone who has not played for them lot would be a start.

If i was asked who I would think would do the best for are club , Gus Hiddink

"Obviously, To Be Fair, We Have To Address The Stuation".

Of course he's a viable option.

Our job is one of the plum jobs in world football now.

Unlimited funds, no need to balance the budget, total control of transfers, excellent squad, competition ailing....

Rest assured we aren't going to be settling for second best when we appoint our next manager. It's pure insecurity when City fans say, as a couple have in this thread, that we "won't get Mourinho".

I believe we have already talked to him, propbably on several occasions,
