Police made a total of 19 arrests in connection with the Manchester derby between City and United at Old Trafford.

Of those, three men were arrested at the game on suspicion of throwing chewing gum onto the pitch.

Brilliant, well done GMP. Last year Bellamy gets hit by a bottle and tons of other stuff thrown at him. They manage to make one arrest and guy ends up getting off for lack of evidence. So this year they step it up and collar people for throwing chewing gum. Fantastic !!
