Big Joe (Corrigan)

Remember a game in the 80's away at Southampton (League Cup i think) when he was beaten 4 times (memory down the pan) and he still was the best player in the pitch.

Loved the guy.

can remember his debut against jamaica at maine road. some of the saves he pulled off were jaw dropping.

and ipswich in 2000. there were some games you knew no matter what the other team did, they were just never going to score

Big Joe in my lifetime, still criminally underrated by both blues and football fans generally. If he was around today, he'd be on for 100 caps. Dibble and Weaver only belong in a top 10 of City 'swordsmen' (ahem)
