Nobody should discount the Spice Girls because they were way ahead of their time and better than Girls Aloud, IMHO.

My personal best were Nirvana, Radiohead, Spiritualized, Oasis, Blur, Belle & Sebastian, Manic Street Preachers, The Chemical Brothers, Super Furry Animals and Placebo. I haven't included The Stone Roses because their flawless LP was released in 1989 and Fool's Gold isn't enough for the 90's.
