I'd search 'man city overhead kick goal' in google but I cba being reminded of that twats goal 40million times.

In Google, you can put a dash before anything that you don't want to see. Searching for

man city overhead kick goal -Rooney

might be what you are after.

Also, to help with your Googlefu, in addition to the dash saying 'I don't want that in the result', you can also use double quotation marks "the things wrapped round this" to search for an exact quote. So instead of man city (which would return results for man and city anywhere in the page), you can search for "man city" which would return sites that have the phrase "man city" in them.

Combining them, you could search for:

"man city" overhead kick goal -Rooney

which will give you all results with the phrase "Man City", the words overhead, goal and kick in it, but not those that have the word Rooney in it.

Thought Fowler scored one in the opening match of the season against fulham?

Remember a cracker injury time winner from Rodney Marsh many years ago.

Rodney Marsh against Derby who went on to win the League. Think we won the game 2-0 but we'd already blown the title by then after being 6pts clear in March. ( in the days of 2pts for a win)

I seem to remember a Trevor Morley one too as has been mentioned (could have been at home to Oxford) ?
