Is it? I thought Mancini had our defence well drilled and working as a unit. Granted he didn't hold much of defensive line in the way it seems to be intergrated into football now using offsides more so and pressing, but it was a decent defensive unit.

True. Maybe no one spoke German. I just remember Boeteng as a player who clearly didn't want to be here or even make a tackle from Day One.
