After years of wilderness and seeing lots of great players in the past do it,I ask the question.

Who will be the first top notch player to publicly declare "I want to sign for Manchester City"

I have not forgotten about previous ones,the best ever for me being"I would jog up the motorway"..Geoff Thomas before not signing for city!
I am not bothered about them.
I would be interested what everybody thinks now.
Will we get the end of career has beens,the new up and comings?
Or maybe one day will Messi turn round and say"City are the club for me" and if he does will he be 30+!

It is bound to happen soon but who and of what calibre?

Ha ha.....Geoff Thomas. I remember he said that he chose to sign for Wolves over City as they had more potential to hit the big time. What a prat. Thanks:) Seriously there is no real answer on which top player will want to run over broken glass to sign for us. Maybe when we get a champions league place we can see what player will want to make a move to us. I hope i made sense.
