It would be a great day if all 8 locally trained spots were filled by club trained players tho'.

If it's a case of 'filling a hole' for the sake of it, surely it would be better to give one of our own home grown players a chance, rather than splashing out on someone we've no interest in?

Are we so strong that no home-grown player can improve us? Every other PL team has its full quota I think and given what lies ahead we need at least a 23 man senior squad. Maguire would improve us imo, but Leicester want to much. Ake might be a useful squad player but Zaha would cost a shit load of cash just to make up numbers and sit on the bench.

I am in the no one really available lets wait and see unless there is a genuine desire in the club to pay megabucks for Maguire. If we don't fill the vacancy then it may allow Zinny to operate in midfield rather than a cover left back which seems to be Angelino/Mendy. Personally I don't think we need anyone else.
