If we could somehow combine Bernardo’s dribbling and ability in tight spaces with Gundogan’s passing, we’d be almost there. As said in many posts above though, there just isn’t a player in the mould of David in existence right now. We may have to accept that we need to adapt as a team instead.

I think he has some way to go personally. Not denying he will be world class, but I feel like he’ll end up closer to KDB in style than Silva.

David is and was one of a kind. Not seen a player quite like him before so, personally, I'd rather we not try and replace him with someone who will inevitably be a poor imitation.
